Cas Castro, Assistant Vice President and Director of Human ResourcesCas Castro is the vice president of human resources at Marquette University. Under Castro's leadership the human resources department is responsible for creating, encouraging, and maintaining an environment that supports, develops and sustains the well being of Marquette University's employees, students, and broader community. Supervision includes the areas of employee relations, benefits, recruitment and retention, organizational development, compensation, and human resource information management.

Castro joined Marquette University in 2009. Prior to joining Marquette he served in benefits, compensation, information system, and regional management leadership roles during his eleven years at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin and Metropolitan Chicago, Inc.

Castro belongs to the Society for Human Resource Management and serves on the board of directors for The Society of Human Resource Professionals, reviewing human resource related laws, developments, trends, and business practices. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and received his Senior Professional in Human Resources certification in 2004.
