Engineers Without Borders Engineers Without Borders:  A non-profit humanitarian organization that implements sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students. Marquette’s chapter offers annual trips to Guatemala to work on critical infrastructure projects.


Global Medical Relief Global Medical Relief: A collaboration effort among university students, medical professionals and other non-profit organizations to provide relief and additional resources to impoverished countries, through medical brigades, educational outreach programs and shipment of medical supplies. The Health, Environment and Infrastructure in Latin America The Health, Environment and Infrastructure in Latin America: The HEILA initiative is an exciting opportunity for students to participate in two-week service learning projects in countries such as Guatemala and Honduras.


International Marquette Action Program International Marquette Action Program: Through the leadership of University Ministry, students can serve internationally in Punta Gorda or Belize. This service and immersion trip is offered during Winter Break each year.


Marquette’s Service Learning in South Africa Program Marquette’s Service Learning in South Africa Program: Based in cosmopolitan Cape Town, at the southern tip of the African continent. You'll integrate rigorous academic studies and gain rare insight into the leadership paradigms and qualities needed for a more peaceful world.


Marquette’s Service Learning in South Africa Program Watumishi: People of Service: This group of students and activists strive to educate the Marquette community about the issues relating to HIV/AIDS around the world. This group offers a summer trip to Voi, Kenya.

Habitat for Humanity International Habitat for Humanity Inernational: This organization seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Over the summers of 2006 and 2007, 15 Marquette students traveled to Chile to work on Habitat projects.
