Pre-Departure Orientation

All students studying abroad at Marquette are required to complete a mandatory general online orientation through their D2L pages. Once the online module is open, students have two weeks to complete it. For students studying abroad in the spring, this will take place in November. For students studying in summer or fall, the online orientation will be completed in April.

program specific orientations

Students will also be required to attend an in-person, program specific orientation. These will be arranged prior to the end of the semester before the student studies abroad. At this session students will meet with their peers going abroad, speak with alumni from their program, and discuss the logistics they will need to know to make their study abroad experience a success.
