U.S. News and World Report recently named Marquette University as one of the best colleges in Wisconsin during its Wisconsin College Road Trip series. Marquette is noted for its midsize Milwaukee home that provides a suitable balance of challenging academics, daily Mass and competitive athletics.

Alexander Schmid, Arts '09, was hired at Escondido Charter High School, an American Heritage charter school in Escondido, Calif. He will teach a law and debate elective for junior and senior students as well as a logic and rhetoric course he developed for freshman students.
