Greetings to all Marquette Band alumni!
My name is Dr. Erik Janners, and I am the new director of the Marquette University Bands. I am delighted to be joining the Marquette community, and I look forward to this academic year with great anticipation. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a bit about the band program, as well as some upcoming activities in which we hope you will consider participating.
The Marquette Band program is thriving! There are currently 120 students in the symphonic band, most of whom are participating in the pep bands as well. The jazz ensemble is also doing well, with a strong core of veteran players being joined by a number of talented freshmen.
