Jayne Jaskolski, Grad '89, received her Ph.D. in language and literacy from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Jaskolski is an assistant professor in the Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Ill.

The Board of Trustees endorsed the Marquette University strategic plan, Beyond Boundaries: Setting the Course for Marquette’s Future, on May 1, following a campus-wide, 18-month planning effort. University President Scott R. Pilarz, S.J., thanked "everyone who contributed their time, talents, energy and input to ensure the plan reflects our collective hopes and dreams for Marquette." McKenna CenterDuring spring break, junior Jessie Bazan spent the week at the Father McKenna Center in Washington D.C., a daytime drop-in center serving some of the city's homeless men. She shares how the undying spirit of 62-year-old " Mr. Q" made a lasting impact on her life.
