Educational Opportunity Program Ronald E. McNair Undergraduate Research Symposium and Reception

Undergraduate students participating in the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program this summer will
present their research at the 19th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium. Twenty students
will conduct oral presentations on a variety of research topics. A reception will follow.
EOP Pre-College Academic Exhibition

Upward Bound students will demonstrate what they learned in a wide variety of interdisciplinary projects:
Rube Goldberg Machines, Product Research and Development, Crime Scene Investigation, Roller Coasters,
Robotics, and Urban Farming. Award ceremony and student films at 7 p.m.

Take a trip down memory lane browsing through the university’s of Hilltop and Tribune archives, photographs, memorabilia and other treasures from the past 50 years. Take in film footage documenting Marquette’s history — including the 1977 championship game — and be transported to yesteryear.
EOP College Division Career Day and Reception
1 - 3 p.m.

EOP alumni will conduct small-group workshops with the 40th-anniversary freshman class during the five-week pre-freshmen summer program. Alumni will discuss their Marquette experiences, career paths and successes. A networking reception will follow.

Marquette will provide round-trip bus transportation to all off-campus tours. Tours meet on the east side of the AMU.

Get ready for a brisk walk or run around Marquette’s campus. This one-mile or 5K trek through your old stomping grounds is sure to bring back memories and help energize you for a fun day ahead. Runners for the 5K line up first, followed by one-mile runners, then walkers.
