Commuter students are those students who live outside of the University District and must drive or utilize public transportation to attend class. Marquette University and the Office of Student Development provide many services and amenities for Marquette commuter students, including the Commuter Lounge.

The Commuter Lounge, located on the first floor of the AMU in room 139, serves as a hidden oasis reserved especially for Commuter Students to relax, study, and connect and converse with other students.

The lounge offers several ammentities, such as the couches and tables, refrigerator, microwave, wireless access and several computers. There is also a bulletin board to post information on campus and community activities.

Commuters may also rent lockers outside the lounge next to Union Station. Locker prices are as follows:
