James Madison

 

 

Provides support to pursue an M.A. in American history or in political science, M.A.T. concentrating on either American Constitutional history (in a history department) or American government, political institutions, and political theory (in a political science department). Requires commitment to teach American history, American government or social studies at a secondary level (grades 7-12) after degree completion. National Science Foundation The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions. Rhodes Scholarship Provides full financial support for Rhodes Scholars to pursue a degree or degrees at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. The 2015 application will be available in early July. Dr. Amelia Zurcher
Rotary Scholarship The Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship Program will end in 2013.  Beginning in 2013-14, the Foundation will offer scholarship opportunities through district and global grants. Check the website.

Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans This fellowship program honors the American immigrant tradition providing fellowships annually to New Americans - naturalized citizens or "green card" holders, or children of naturalized citizens. Each fellowship provides support of graduate study over two years in any field at any degree-granting institution in the United States. Applicants must be in their senior year or in the first two years of graduate study. Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation The Truman Scholarship provides funding to students pursuing graduate degrees in public service fields. Scholars are invited to participate in a number of programs: Truman Scholar Leadership Week, The Summer Institute, and The Truman-Albright Fellows Program.
