Marquette University offers students many opportunities to study off-campus. A student planning to spend a semester or year at one of the study abroad programs should note the following general information regarding billing and payment of charges:
If financial aid will exceed the Bursar charges and a refund check is expected, the Office of the Bursar is pleased to announce that we now offer direct deposit of refund checks. Students can have their tuition refunds directly deposited into their checking account by following these simple steps:
- A Direct Deposit Authorization Agreement Form is on our website, www.marquette.edu/bursar under downloadable forms. Please print the form, fill in the required information, sign, date and attach a voided check and mail to: Marquette University, Office of the Bursar, ATTN: Direct Deposit, PO Box 1881, Milwaukee WI 53201-1881. You may also hand deliver it to our office located at 1618 W Wells Street.
- It may take up to five (5) business days to update your records from the time you submit the paper authorization.
- This authorization agreement will remain in effect until: (a) Marquette University receives a signed, dated notification from the student terminating Direct Deposit, (b) Failure to enroll in or register for any classes at Marquette University for one (1) calendar year, (c) Your bank/credit union no longer honors or accepts direct deposits, (d) Your account closes.
For more information on Direct Deposit please go to Refunds
Any questions or concerns regarding the student's Bursar account or refund check may be directed to Cheryl Fax by calling (414) 288-7157 or via email.
