Billing Statements

  • Students who register by August 1, 2008 for the fall term will receive an initial billing statement detailing tuition, room and board, fees and other charges, estimated financial aid, and the amount due by August 18, 2008. Students registering after August 1, 2008 will receive a billing statement in September.

Please note: If a student does not register for all classes which will bring the student to full-time status, the initial billing statement will only reflect those classes for which the student has registered. In this case, change the tuition charge to reflect the full-time tuition rate and add the Student Activity Fee, UPASS, and Student Health Service Fee if you are a full-time undergraduate student.

  • Students who registered by December 5, 2008 for the spring term will receive an initial billing statement detailing tuition, room and board, fees and other charges, estimated financial aid, and the amount due by January 9, 2009. Students registering after December 5, 2008 will receive a billing statement in January.
  • Billing statements are sent out at the beginning of each month to all accounts with outstanding balances due. All billing statements are sent to the student's billing address as indicated on CheckMarq. It is the student's responsibility to update the information on the CheckMarq system.

Payment Due Dates

To avoid assessment of a late-payment fee, payment in full must be received by August 18, 2008 for the fall term, and January 9, 2009 for the spring term. To ensure timely receipt of payment, please mail 5 days prior to the due date.

Payment can also be made via online payment (e-pay). Electronic payment allows a one-time payment to be taken directly from your bank account and applied to your bursar account. There is no charge for this service.
