The majority of his published journal articles are in the area if hip joint biomechanics. He has also produced several innovative educational videos that demonstrate concepts of clinical kinesiology. Don’s teachings are based on years of clinical experience combined with extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. He is the author of Kinesiology of the Musculoskeletal System: Foundations for Physical Rehabilitation, published by Elsevier (2002). Don is also Associate Editor of the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy.
Dr. Neumann has received three Fulbright Scholarships to teach kinesiology in Kaunas Medical University in Lithuania (2002), and in Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary (2005 and 2006). Since 1988, each July Dr. Neumann directs a four-day course, Gross Dissection and Kinesiology, for a wide range of medical and health professionals. This very popular course, presented on the campus of Marquette University, combines anatomy dissection and lectures on kinesiology.
