You’ve made it through a semester of classes and you know how to use your meal plan (more or less). So what’s next?
Try the Connect retreat, an opportunity to step back and consider these questions and more:
Whether your semester has been smooth sailing or a real struggle, Connect is a place to think it over and move forward.
It’s also a place to build an expanded community of other students asking big questions and searching for answers. With both fellow retreatants and older student leaders ready to share their own struggles and growth, you can expect to end the day with new companions for your journey.
Don’t sit this one out. Instead, Connect.
All new students at Marquette, both first year students and recent transfer students.
Straz Tower, 915 W. Wisconsin Ave.
A hidden gem on Marquette’s campus, Straz Tower is home to several group rooms, a chapel, and a full kitchen. You can expect all the amenities of a normal retreat center (including never-ending hot chocolate and tea) right here on campus.
Meet in Straz Tower at 9:00 am. The retreat will end at 3:50pm, a full hour and a half before the Superbowl kickoff and in time for those who wish to attend the 4:00pm Campus Ministry Mass at Gesu.
$10, which covers lunch, snacks, and retreat supplies. Financial assistance is available; contact Sara Knutson for more information.
Registration for the Connect retreat is now open. Click here to register for the Connect Retreat. Registration will close on Thursday, February 4.
