Midnight Run

All Saints Parish Meal

Volunteers help set up, serve, and clean-up for this evening meal each Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Bee the Change

Volunteers learn about beekeeping with members of the community and help maintain the bee hive on the roof of our Engineering Building and at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Date and time for this site varies.

Casa Maria

Volunteers provide assistance in numerous ways at this Catholic worker Home for women and children. Volunteers for this site need to be self-starters and pitch in where needed.  Volunteers serve on Tuesday & Thursday from 6-8 pm, or Fridays from 4:30-6:30 pm.

The Cathedral Center

The Cathedral Center is a shelter for women and children and is located on Van Buren and Kilbourn Ave. Volunteers provide attention and tutoring assistance to the children in the center. Volunteer times are Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Despensa de la Paz

Despensa de la Paz is a part of the Friedenís Pantry organization and provides a food pantry with a community feel on the near south side. Volunteers serve on Saturdays from 10:0 0am-12:00 Noon.

Friedenís Pantry at the Marcia Coggís Center

Friedens Community Ministries is a social service agency which provides non-perishable food to those in need across Milwaukee County. The pantry at the Coggs Center has Midnight Run volunteers on Mondays and Fridays from 1:00-3:00 pm.

Friendship House

Friendship House is a transitional housing facility which provides shelter and support for women and children transitioning out of homeless shelters. Volunteer opportunities are on Mondays from 4:00-6:00pm and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm.

The Gathering on State Street

Volunteers help serve a breakfast meal and clean up at St. Benís Church located at 1015 N. 9th Street. Volunteer opportunities available Monday-Friday 7:30-10:00 am.

Gesu Meal

Volunteers make sandwiches at Cobeen Hall and serve at the Gesu Meal in their parish center located behind Gesu Church.  Volunteers work with Gesu parishioners in facilitating this meal.  Opportunities available every 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saturdays, 3:00-6:45 pm.

Guest House

Guest House, located at 1216 N. 13th Street is a homeless shelter for men.  Volunteers work with Guest House staff in registering guests and providing them basic personal care items as needed. Volunteers work Wednesdays from 5:30-8:00 pm.

MacCanon Brownís Homeless Sanctuary

MacCanon Brownís Homeless Sanctuary is a developing social service site in the poorest zip code in the Milwaukee area (53206). Volunteers provide sandwiches and distribute clothing to guests of the center on Thursdays. Volunteer time is from 10:30am to 12:45 pm.

Noon Run

Noon Run is Midnight Runís original service site. We currently partner with Redeemer Lutheran Church to provide wholesome lunches from Sunday through Friday. Volunteers can choose from two shifts. 11:00 am-1:00 pm or 12:0002:00pm.

Repairers of the Breach

Volunteers support this advocacy group, located at 1335 W. Vliet Street, by assisting in their computer lab. Volunteer day and time varies.

St. Ben's "Loaves and Fishes" meal program is one of the first in the city. Located at 1015 N. 9th Street, Volunteers help serve evening meals to hundreds of guests Sunday through Friday, 4:45-6:45 pm.

St. Vincent De Paul

Volunteers assist with serving evening meals and providing hospitality at these large meal programs for individuals and families on Milwaukee's near South Side and on the North Side. Volunteer opportunities available for Sunday, Wednesday or Friday from 5:00-7:00 pm at the South Side site and on Tuesday through Friday at the North Side site.

StreetLife

As its name might indicate, StreetLife provides street ministry to homeless. StreetLife takes place in the parking lot for Wells Fargo bank on 7th and Wisconsin from 10:00am until 12:00 Noon.

Vetís Place Central

Volunteers share a meal with homeless veterans and interact with them at their weekly meeting each Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm.
