Communication Studies

Dream Your Dream
Think you’d like to resolve a major conflict? Or perhaps just a minor family fight? Or even become an actor? One of Marquette’s grads is now a regular on the People’s Choice Award winning romantic comedy, “Ed.”

In addition, if advertising is your thing, one of our grads was president of the oldest and most respected advertising firm in the U.S., J. Walter Thompson!

Sure, we all know how to talk, but how well do we actually communicate? In Marquette’s Communication Studies program you can develop the communication skills needed to interact in any setting. You’ll have the satisfaction of being able to connect successfully with others at home, at work, or in social situations.

Learning Power
Marquette’s Communication Studies program emphasizes organizational and managerial communication, family communication, gender and interpersonal communication and interaction, multicultural communication, and persuasion and rhetoric.
