Accounting Technology provides training and functional user support for the transactional accounting, payroll and financial reporting systems. The office administers financial system access and coordinates system testing and maintenance with IT Services and other finance departments.

Accounting Technology’s primary goals are to ensure financial systems satisfy business requirements, comply with applicable policies and address appropriate internal controls. AT collaborates with Information Technology Services’ system administrators to oversee the data integrity and security of the financial database, as well as maintain the structure and integrity of the financial reports. AT provides leadership about the design and development of financial business systems, including analysis of related business processes and financial reporting. AT promotes the most extensive practical use of financial systems by finance colleagues and other stakeholders through cooperative development, design and implementation efforts.
