The Milwaukee Public Market, featuring nearly 20 food purveyors, offers a tantalizing array of the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, cheeses, spices and ready-to-eat prepared meals. Artisan breads, hand-dipped chocolates, baked goods, coffee creations and local craft beers are also available to tempt your tastebuds.

 

Designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, the Milwaukee Art Museum and Quadracci Pavilion features an extensive collection of American, European and German Expressionist works, decorative arts, folk art and one of the world’s largest Georgia O’Keefe collections. The museum’s signature wings, the Burke Brise Soleil, form a moveable sunscreen with a 217-foot wing span.

 

The Historic Third Ward is a revitalized warehouse and manufacturing district encompassing six square blocks of unique restaurants, brew pubs, art galleries, theaters, specialty stores, and fashionable boutiques. Milwaukee's popular RiverWalk, spanning three miles from north to south, winds through the neighborhood.

 

American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers National League Baseball team and the nation’s only fan-shaped, retractable roof and natural grass playing field, is a great place to take in a baseball game, rain or shine.

 

The Lakefront Trail is for all who love to walk, run or pedal while taking in the beauty of Lake Michigan's shoreline. Beginning just south of the Milwaukee Art Museum, this paved, three-mile loop features a 20-station exercise course and the one-mile Lakeshore State Park Loop.

 

The Harley Davidson Museum chronicles the history of an American legend from the first Harley motorcycle dating back to 1903 through a not-to-be-missed display of 450 bikes and other artifacts. The museum also includes Harley’s role in pop culture.
