The Counseling Center is centrally located on the second floor of Holthusen Hall, Room 204, 1324 W. Wisconsin Avenue. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 414-288-7172 or by coming in person to the Center.

The staff of the Counseling Center are committed to being responsive to students' emotional and career development needs. Many students are interested in utilizing our services, and we make every reasonable effort to schedule timely appointments. Generally, students can be seen within a week for a first appointment. However, during high utilization times a first appointment may be scheduled within 1 to 3 weeks. Crisis situations will be prioritized and scheduled after speaking with an on-call counselor.

All counseling services are free of charge for full time students. Part time students may receive one free session for personal assessment and possible referral to other mental health professionals in the community for further counseling.
