Leslee Ruscitti has been at Marquette University since 1999. She began teaching full-time, in 2008, for the Graduate Program in the College of Professional Studies (CPS) and is Adjunct Faculty for Marquette's Law School. She currently serves as the CPS Faculty Advisor for Criminal Justice and is a member of the college's Assessment , Curriculum and Law Enforcement Leadership and Management committees.
Retired from the Attorney Manager position of the SPD's Milwaukee Juvenile Division, she has been a criminal defense attorney for 24 years. Professor Ruscitti has presented at the Wisconsin Bar Association's State Conference, the Wisconsin Criminal Defense Conference and continues to provide Private Bar Specialty Certification Training for the State of Wisconsin. She has published articles in the Wisconsin Law Journal and The Defender. As a participant in the State Public Defender/Law Enforcement Interagency Courtroom Skills Training Project she provided experiential training to law enforcement officers statewide.
