The Marquette University Career Services Center partners with employers in a variety of ways. Our program includes free, unlimited job and internship postings, on campus interviewing in professional interview suites, and career fairs and career events throughout the year.
We are excited to tell you about our upcoming transition to Handshake! Handshake is a modern platform for college recruiting that will replace our current system, MU Career Manager. Handshake offers the same recruiting functionality, including job postings, career fair registration and on campus interview scheduling in an intuitive, mobile friendly design. Handshake also makes it easier for employers to manage their on-campus recruiting activities at multiple campuses from one dashboard.
July 25: Last day for employers to access MU Career Manager. Employers with existing MU Career Manager accounts may continue to post jobs throughout July. If you are not hiring for an immediate start date, we encourage you to wait to post your position on Handshake.
August 1: Employers will have access to Handshake and be able to register for the fall career fair, post jobs and request interview schedules.
Mid-August: Marquette students and alumni will have access to Handshake.
More information will be available soon. Thank you for your understanding as we move through this exciting transition. We look forward to working with you!

Posting Internships and Full-time Positions
How do I register for Marquette's fall career fairs?
Registration for the fall technical and non-technical career fairs at Marquette will open August 1 in Handshake. Click here for pricing and sponsorship options.
My organization already uses Handshake to recruit at other colleges. Do I need to do anything?
Beginning August 1, you can simply login to your Handshake account and search for Marquette.
Who should I contact if I need assistance setting up a Handshake account?
Will my active job postings and account information (profile, events, older jobs, etc.) on MU Career Manager transferred to Handshake?
Any job postings currently on MU Career Manager (both active and expired) will not transfer to Handshake. Profile information, past events and interviews schedules will not transfer to Handshake. Employers are able to access MU Career Manager to retrieve any data they wish to save up until July 25.
Between now and August 1, what should I do if I want to request an interview schedule for the fall?
Please contact Liz Baird to request an interview date. We are currently not accepting interview schedule requests via MU Career Manager. You may reserve interview room space now and you will be able to request a schedule in Handshake beginning August 1.
Between now and August 1, what should I do if I want to post a job/internship/co-op?
Your MU Career Manager account will remain active until July 25. You will have access to post jobs via MU Career Manager until July 25. Note that postings will not be transferred to Handshake. If you are not hiring for an immediate start date, we encourage you to wait to post your position until August 1 on Handshake.
When will students be able to access Handshake?
Marquette students will gain access to Handshake in mid-August.
If I post a job on WIPCCC Jobs Consortium through Purple Briefcase, will my job posting be visible to Marquette students?
Your WIPCCC job posting through Purple Briefcase will not be viewable to Marquette students. Employers that would like positions viewable to Marquette students must post jobs via Handshake beginning August 1.
I want to post jobs to both the WIPCCC Jobs Consortium and to Marquette, what should I do?
Visit the WIPCCC Jobs site here to learn more about creating an account through Purple Briefcase. Visit https://app.joinhandshake.com/login to create an account on Handshake to post jobs at Marquette.
I received an email from Handshake to set up an account, but I no longer work in campus recruiting. What should I do?
Please disregard the email if you no longer wish to recruit at Marquette. No action is required.
I still have more questions about the upcoming transition. Who should I contact directly?
