If you are interested in conducting interviews with our students on-campus, please call or email Sharon Hansen at (414) 288-5735 to reserve a date. Our office has professional interview suites for employers who would like to interview our students for career-related positions. You will need to reserve your date at least four weeks in advance.

On-campus interviewing is facilitated through our online career management system, MU Career Manager. Interviews will only be scheduled when classes are in session.

ADDITIONAL ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

When is the schedule finalized? When can I print the schedule on MU Career Manager and know that it is accurate?

Students are allowed to sign up online until 8:00 a.m. the day before the interview date. However, if there are openings on the schedule, the Career Center staff will often schedule interested students at the last minute. Employers should expect some last minute changes and should refer to the schedule that is on their desk on the morning of the interview visit.

How can I get more students to sign up on my interview schedule?

The following are some suggestions:

1. Establish an "open" schedule instead of a "pre-select" schedule, but continue to call and/or email students to invite them to sign-up.
2. Over invite. In other words, realize that the same students you like are probably being invited by other firms as well.
3. Attend career fairs that are held on Marquette's campus prior to your interview date. Being on-campus often and having a strong presence makes a big difference.
4. Re-consider GPA requirements if your company has a GPA policy.
