An interdisciplinary and interactive dialogue with guest speaker Thomas Nelson-Laird from Indiana University will focus on what we have learned about MU student and faculty experience and expectations through two national surveys; the NSSE (National Survey of Student Engagement) and the FSSE (Faculty Survey of Student Engagement) and the FSSE (Faculty Survey of Student Engagement).


Faculty Field Trip: How Might Working with the Community Enhance my Teaching and Scholarship? Thursday, May 16. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Bus departs from the Service Learning Office

Who said field trips are only for kids? Join us as we embark on a bus tour of four community agencies here in our immediate neighborhood. Learn about the services they provide, the community needs they respond to, and about opportunities for service learning, community-based learning, community based research, and undergraduate research. D2L Fresh Start Training – the New Version 10

These two hour sessions will explore new features of the D2L update including navigation tools, feedback and discussion enhancements, subscriptions and notifications, drag-and-drop files, and much more! These sessions will be especially useful to summer school faculty – both online and face to face! Register today. Sessions will be held in Raynor Memorial Library, Room 330.
