Change the Date for Viewing Course Information For Faculty

Editing the Course Offering Information allows you to change the date on which students may begin viewing course information. This is called the Start Date and establishes the date when the course will be visible to students. The course will become available beginning at 12 am that day.

Choose a date that is not earlier than two weeks before the first class. Students are not added to D2L until then.

WARNING: Do not change other items on this screen.

1.       From the My Home page, select the course you want to edit.

2.       From the Course Home page, click EDIT COURSE.

3.       The Course Admin Tools dialog box appears.

4.       Click on Course Offering Information.

To change the start date for the course, from the Start Date pull-down lists, select the desired date.

Click SELECT DATE.
