Instructors can create a personal homepage in Desire2Learn. Your personal homepage allows you to share information about yourself with members of your class. The course homepage allows you to share information specific to a class. There are two ways to create a personal homepage: you can use Desire2Learn's HTML Editor or you can upload an existing web page that was created using other web editing software.
This option is a two-step process. After you create the HTML file, you can then edit the page. The HTML Editor for homepages allows you to use both Design and HTML views to create the page, but images may only be added using the HTML view.
HINTS:
To toggle between Design and HTML view, at the bottom of the HTML Editor, click DESIGN or HTML.
Design view offers pull-down lists and buttons for formatting text. For more information about using HTML Editor in the Design view, refer to Using HTML Editor.
