Giving to the School of Dentistry

As Wisconsin’s only dental school since 1894, the Marquette University School of Dentistry is having an impact on the students and patients whose lives we touch. Gifts from alumni, parents, grateful patients and other friends, regardless of amount, help the School of Dentistry provide a transformative education for our students and high quality oral health care to the communities we serve.

Letter from the Dean William K. Lobb, D.D.S., M.S., M.P.H.Dean William Lobb

Friends & Supporters,

The generosity of our alumni and friends here at the Marquette University School of Dentistry has allowed us to remain at the forefront of dental education, and I thank you for that.

As Dean, I have witnessed the impact of these contributions first hand. And they do make a difference!  With your help, we have been able to better prepare our students for dental practice and patient care by offering the most advanced clinical resources and instructional technology available, as well as expand our clinical outreach to treat over 30,000 patients annually throughout the state.

But there is always work to be done to remain current, and to be the best in this increasingly competitive environment. In order to continue to produce skilled and competent dentists, we must be prepared to recruit and retain talented faculty members, to attract high quality students, to replace and upgrade the equipment in our labs and clinics, and to grow in our outreach and clinical services.

So, I humbly ask you to consider making a gift to the Dental School for this year. You will find everything you need in this section of our web site to make your support possible.  Every gift makes a difference but please be as generous as you can. Your philanthropy sets an example for other alumni and friends to proudly follow. I thank you in advance for your support.
