The design and construction of a 40,000-square-foot expansion of the Marquette University School of Dentistry will provide more clinical space and updated state-of-the-art technologies, assist with the retention and recruitment of quality faculty, and provide the space for additional students.
Features include an additional 24-chair clinic; an expanded faculty practice; space for clinical research; expanded and upgraded simulation laboratory; midsized technology-rich classroom space; and faculty offices and support space.
Funding will be accomplished via $8 million in matching state funds and an additional $8 million raised by the School of Dentistry through a capital fundraising campaign — Building for the Future — to complete the $16 million project. It is a direct match, so each donor dollar will instantly double in value.
