Welcome!
It is with great honor and pleasure that I serve as your President for the Dental Alumni Association. Marquette University School of Dentistry has a long history of great tradition and anticipates a very bright future for generations to come. We can all be proud of our heritage and dental education!
The primary goal of “your” Dental Alumni Association is to serve as a liaison and improve communication between the School of Dentistry and its alumni. We sponsor a variety of activities to engage with faculty, students and alumni:
- Class reunions.
- Awards ceremonies for outstanding alumni.
- Reception parties at dental meetings, including the ADA Annual Session and Chicago Midwinter Meeting.
- CE meetings for alumni and students.
- Social gatherings at various events, such as Marquette men’s basketball games and Milwaukee Brewer games.
- Welcoming reception for the incoming D1 class.
- Yearly sponsorship and presence at the White Coat Ceremony.
In a nutshell, our efforts are to build a large community where we all feel like family!
The Dental Alumni Association also helps to develop, foster and maintain a culture of giving among the Alumni and Board itself. Our Philanthropy Committee works closely with the School of Dentistry so we can help raise funds and keep it thriving in an ever-changing world. Marquette University School of Dentistry is recognized as a leader and innovator in dental education and Dean William Lobb will continue to take it to new frontiers.
