ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Christine Brennan is an award-winning USA Today sports columnist, best-selling author, and commentator for ABC News, ESPN, NPR and Fox Sports Radio. Brennan is the most widely read female sports columnist in the nation and author of seven books, including Inside Edge, named one of the top 100 sports books of all time by Sports Illustrated. Her most recent book is Best Seat in the House: A Father, A Daughter, A Journey Through Sports.
ABOUT THE TALK
Brennan spoke on the barriers women in sports and sports journalism have had to overcome and their accomplishments throughout history including Title 9, a law enacted in 1972 that gave women the right to play sports during their high school and college education.
