Thomas Gensemer is managing director of Blue State Digital, the Internet strategy and technology firm responsible for the online presidential campaign of then-Sen. Barack Obama. Blue State Digital’s client list includes Obama for America, Wal-Mart Watch and the Alliance for Climate Protection, among others.
Gensemer spoke to Marquette about the use of social media and interactive strategies in the 2008 Presidential campaign and why they were so successful.

Mitchem gave the keynote address at the 2009 DePaul University symposium "Balancing Market and Mission: Enrollment Management Strategies in Catholic Higher Education."
