St. Monica Parish School, located in the vibrant North Shore community of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin is an Exemplary Recognition Catholic School with an 80 year history of excellence in education.

We are searching for a full-time Principal to join us starting with the academic year 2013 - 2014. St. Monica Parish is a thriving congregation of approximately 1,300 families. Our school has a current enrollment of close to 400 students in grades K4 – 8.

The successful candidate will embody the School's Catholic mission to "Learn, Live and Love Through Jesus" and have a proven commitment to academic excellence. Additionally, the candidate will have a demonstrated record of being a strong leader, a well-organized and collaborative administrator, a results oriented professional, a powerful and effective communicator, a confident decision maker, and a passionate educator.

The ideal candidate will have teaching or other relevant school experience, a Master's or higher educational degree, and have or be eligible for certification and principal licensure by the State of Wisconsin; past experience as a principal is a plus. In collaboration with the Pastor, the Principal serves the Parish by providing vision and leadership through several key responsibilities. These include: curriculum development; knowledge and use of 21st century learning; the professional development, recruitment and retention of faculty and staff; and budget oversight.
