Each forum is taped in front of a studio audience for later broadcast on Milwaukee Public Television, Channel 10.1. The forums are free and open to the public. Bring your lunch and a friend. Join the discussion by asking a question of the guests.

TERRANCE FALK was elected to the Milwaukee Public School Board in 2007 and represents District 8. Director Falk taught English and speech to MPS children for over thirty years. He was also the Juneau High School debate coach.
WILLIAM HENK, Ed.D. is the dean of the Marquette University College of Education. Professor Henk writes and speaks on K-12 literacy, best practices in reading and writing, and other issues concerning urban teacher education.
VERONICA MANCHENO is a teacher at Loyola Academy High School, an educational program of the Council for the Spanish Speaking. Loyola serves at risk youth as an MPS alternative partnership school. The Academy works with 94 students in grades 9 through 12.
STEPHANIE WALTERS is an assistant executive director for the Milwaukee Teachers’ Education Association, a labor union known as MTEA. She is a co-editor of The New Teacher Book and Keeping the Promise. Ms. Walters is on the editorial board of Rethinking Schools, an organization that works for education reform.
