Released: 1/25/10

Seeking God Everywhere - book coverFr. Jeffrey LaBelle is co-editor of a new book on Ignatian spirituality that will be released in February 2010.

Seek God Everywhere: Reflections on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Anthony de Mello, S.J., former director of the Sadhana Institute of Pastoral Counseling in Pune, India, takes readers on an in-depth exploration of the practices of St. Ignatius and offers simple guidance and wisdom to help readers navigate the sometimes-confusing byways on the journey to God.

In reflecting on the work involved in editing de Mello's work, Fr. LaBelle comments, "In my 30 years as a Jesuit, I’ve never had a task as joyful as poring over this manuscript, not only because of the personal inspiration it provided me, but also due to the enlightenment it will generate for all God’s people. Tony delivers a message of God’s personal love for each of us and God’s call to interior freedom available to all women and men:  words of hope that are sorely needed in today’s world."

In addition to the English edition, there are plans for Spanish, Polish, Korean, and Indonesian translations, as well as an e-volume of the work.
