Join us for the 2010 Tommy G. Thompson Lecture with Theresa Perry, a professor of Africana Studies and Education at Simmons College in Boston. She has coauthored and edited many books such as Young, Gifted, and Black: Promoting High Achievement Among African-American Students and The Real Ebonics Debate. She received her M.A. from Marquette University and her Ed.D. from Harvard University.
