College of Education alumna, Elaine Petricca, has been named a recipient of a 2010 Future Foreign Language Teacher Awards from the Wisconsin Association for Language Teachers. This annual WAFLT award recognizes students from teacher-training programs who have shown exceptional promise and potential to become outstanding foreign language educators.
Petricca graduated from the College of Education in May, 2010 with majors in Middle/Secondary Education and Spanish Language, Literature and Culture. She is currently teaching Spanish at Libertyville High School in Illinois.
Her award award will be presented at the Awards Banquet, Friday evening, November 5 at the WAFLT Conference at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton, WI.
