Three College of Education Students Receive Prestigious Student Leadership Awards

Released: 4/25/2016

Congratulations to Lauren Gilbert, Kathryn Vetter, and Alexandra Labeots on being honored Sunday morning for their demonstration of outstanding student leadership as undergraduates at Marquette University's College of Education.

Lauren Gilbert received the Celebration of Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion Award, an award recognizing students who are committed to serving as change agents and leading others in becoming more culturally aware and appreciative of diversity and inclusion within and outside of the Marquette community.

Kathryn Vetter and Alexandra Labeots both received the Dedication Award, an award bestowed upon students who have shown commitment and dedication to a specific organization or initiative on campus, and who have exemplified humble leadership in doing so.

The Student Leadership Awards are highly prestigious that honor a select few individuals across campus each year. The College of Education extends its gratitude to the students who have been committed to improving Marquette and their communities during their undergraduate studies.
