COEP Graduate Student Organization

2008-2009 Theme:  "Social Justice Through Leadership"

This year the theme leadership will guide our events and functions.  There are a few ways in which we are planning to take the lead on social justice at Marquette University.  These include a food and coat drive being held to help those in need, raising money for our Diversity Scholarship to encourage enrollment and leadership of people with diverse backgrounds in the field of counseling psychology, and setting a fundraising goal of $3,000 to contribute to our Diversity Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Our Mission:

The purpose of the COEP GSO shall be to unite graduate students, both masters and doctoral, in the Counseling and Educational Psychology Department, for the purpose of professional and personal development, disseminating information relevant to COEP students' education and training, and organizing meetings of the COEP GSO members in both professional and social settings.  The COEP GSO will be used as a vehicle to help students develop personally and professionally, and improve the program.
