STPA Interview and Orientation Day
Friday, February 20, 2009
This event includes program orientation activities in the morning, interviews for Graduate Assistantship positions scheduled in the afternoon, and a social sponsored by the College Student Personnel Association in the evening. By attending this day-long event, candidates have the opportunity to learn about STPA curriculum, tour the campus, meet faculty from the College of Education, network with fellow applicants, and interview for Graduate Assistantships.
Prospective and current full-time STPA students may apply for Graduate Assistantships. Assistantships are typically 10-month appointments. Compensation for assistantship work is in the form of a monthly stipend plus tuition scholarship, and some residence life assistantships include on-campus housing. In addition, Graduate Assistants receive special benefits and discounts.
