The afternoon program included a keynote address by Dr. Jeffrey Snell, Assistant to the President of Marquette University, a School of Education alumnus, and the recipient of the Educational Policy and Leadership Alumni Achievement Award for 2007.

Of special note, Dr. Lauren Leslie was recognized for 33 years of dedicated service to the Marquette University School of Education. Dr. Leslie, recently awarded the rank of Professor Emeritus, Marquette, retired May 20 after 33 years of service to the school and community.
