Biomedical engineering undergraduates make up approximately 28 percent of the nearly 1,000 College of Engineering undergraduate students. There are approximately 80-90 biomedical engineering graduate students studying at the master's and doctoral levels.
Biomedical engineering students at Marquette have access to resources on and off campus through collaboration with institutions such as the Medical College of Wisconsin. The department has unique laboratory capabilities, including CT microfocal imaging, biotelemetry, telerehabilitation and neurorehabilitation robots.
Marquette's Biomedical Engineering Department offers the BSBE degree in Biomedical Engineering. Within this one degree, there are three major options: Biocomputing, Bioelectronics, and Biomechanics. Additionally, the department offers degrees at the master's and doctoral levels.
