It is time to begin recruiting for co-ops and interns for the SUMMER of 2014.

Co-Op
The sophomore-level students are eligible to begin co-op in one of the following terms:
- Summer (May, 2014)
- Fall (September, 2014)
- Spring (January, 2015)
Employers and students participating in our co-op program are asked to commit to a minimum of 3 work terms; full-time work rotating with school semesters. Please note these details:
- We prefer that our students complete their senior year in-tact (fall and spring semesters at school) so that they are able to experience their capstone design course/project in-series.
- Terms annotated with an “X” are flexible terms; employers may invite students to work during a flex term.
- Revised work/school schedules will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Revised schedules must be approved by the student’s academic advisor, student, employer, and the industry relations director.
Example Co-Op Schedules:
Our Fall 2013 sophomore class (eligible for co-op) consists of approximately:
- 70 Biomedical Engineering Majors (7 BIOC, 18 BIOE, 49 BIOM)
- 53 Civil and Environmental Engineering Majors (11 Environmental)
- 7 Construction Engineering & Management
- 42 EE/Computer Engineering Majors (17 COEN, 25 ELEE)
- 70 Mechanical Engineering Majors
Internships
- Full-time, summer-only job openings will be publicized as internships.
- Based on your recruiting criteria, we will publicize open internship positions to all levels and majors of engineering students.
We would like to gather more complete placement data for our engineering interns; please communicate with us if you hire a Marquette student for an engineering internship.
Job Posting Procedure:
To increase your ability to access and track your job postings, student applications and on-campus interview schedules, please post your open positions in our MU Career Manager system.

Student Group Interaction: If you would like to speak at a student organization event, please contact the industry relations office to find a prime venue
Information Sessions: If you have struggled to garner sufficient interest in your open positions or if you are new to recruiting at MU, please contact us to schedule an info session with a targeted student audience
Info Table: If you would like to speak to students during study breaks and between classes, we welcome you to request an information table. Space will be reserved for you in our engineering building(s) and we welcome your professional interaction with our students.
