What You'll Study
The course work you’ll take at Marquette University for either Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering has been carefully designed to provide you with a well rounded education in both your chosen engineering field and in liberal arts. Starting with the fundamentals in the discipline, your work culminates with the senior design experience when you tackle an industrial project which requires integration of the knowledge and skills both you and your team members have acquired in previous work to successfully satisfy the requirements of your customer.
Each major requires 133 credit hours for graduation. In the sophomore year, students may also elect to participate in the Co-op Program.
In general, it’s possible to transfer into or out of either the Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering programs in the freshman and sophomore years and still be able to graduate with your engineering degree with minimal time or course loss.
