The Center for Joining and Manufacturing Assembly is an organization linking the Marquette engineering and the industrial manufacturing communities. The CJMA’s mission is to provide a forum through which joining and assembling problems from the center’s members can be solved. The CJMA is dedicated to advancing the technologies associated with joining and assembly through shared problem-solving and a shared knowledge base and by advancing the state of the art through research and design. The three major thrust areas are mechanical joining; welding, brazing and soldering; and assembly.
