Students with backgrounds in engineering, physical science and life science disciplines are eligible for admission to the master of science and doctoral programs in biomedical engineering.
A baccalaureate degree in an appropriate area with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 is required. Prospective students must apply for admission through the Graduate School.
All applicants must submit official transcripts, three letters of recommendation and the results of the Graduate Record Examination General (Aptitude) Test only.
Foreign applicants must also submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language.
Doctoral applicants should also submit a brief statement of purpose and copies of published work. Students who do not have an engineering degree must complete prerequisite engineering requirements.
