What graduates of the HTM program have to say

The Healthcare Technologies Management program has given me the tools needed to advance my career in a field that is heavily impacted by rapidly changing technology. This program is flexible enough to prepare a student for key roles in product and business management, as well as clinical and delivery services in the healthcare field.

The Master’s degree in Healthcare Technologies Management was the perfect mix of business administration and biomedical engineering. As a clinical engineer, if fit both my personal and career goals. All this in one year – this is a truly outstanding program.

The Healthcare Technologies Management Program was the “right mix”. It offered me the “right mix” of coursework and home life. The availability of two on-line courses allowed me to participate in these classes without a major disturbance to my home life. I was even able to participate while traveling in France. The flexibility of the program faculty was key. As a working professional, the balance of home, work, and school is delicate and difficult. The staff gave me the support so that it could be done.

The program was also the “right mix” of business and technology. The ability to study basic business courses and take technical electives is one of the unique qualities of this program. This was a major concern for me when I was selecting a graduate program. Being an engineer, I wanted the business courses but didn’t want to sacrifice my technical skills. The “right mix” of this program allowed me to do both.

The HCTM program provided practical knowledge about technology as it pertains to the healthcare industry. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, the HCTM program seemed like a natural fit. Not only did the curriculum prepare me for an entry-level clinical engineering position in a hospital, but it also prepared me for quick advancement into a management role with a large managed services company. This well-tailored program provided the tools necessary for me to manage healthcare technology, people, and a $7M budget.
