Philanthropy

The College of Engineering insists on conducting education and research programs of the highest quality. Our program needs outstrip our existing financial resources. As a result, there is a gap between the services we can provide and the needs of our students and faculty. Accordingly, we must rely on the philanthropic support of our many alumni, friends, and public and private partners.

The College of Engineering consistently competes for major grants and contracts from government, foundation, and corporation sources. In addition, we seek and receive support from individuals for varying purposes, including the following.

  • Undergraduate and Graduate Student Scholarships
  • Endowed Professorships
  • Equipment and Instrumentation Donations
  • Operating Support

These much needed funds come to the College of Engineering through a variety of funding mechanisms, including the following.

  • Major Gifts
  • Donations
  • Research Agreements
  • Contributions
