Assistant to the Associate Dean Enrollment Management and Outreach
As Associate Dean for Enrollment Management and Outreach, it is my honor to assist prospective undergraduate engineering students like you. We are extremely pleased you have decided to take a closer look at Marquette University and our College of Engineering.
WHAT IS MARQUETTE ENGINEERING?
If you have already reviewed the Marquette website you may know some of this already, but you may not know that we are the largest Catholic Engineering school in the nation. We offer six Undergraduate Engineering Degree Programs with nine majors to choose from. We are located on a 96-acre urban campus adjacent to downtown Milwaukee. There is a lot to discover and take part in both on campus and around Milwaukee. Engineering is the third largest academic program at Marquette. That means there is a decent number of engineers but we are still small enough to make your education personal. You are not just a number on the roster here.
Check out the Marquette Engineering Viewbook!
All this means that you will not only become a skilled engineer at Marquette but you will also have your life transformed by a curriculum that is structured to produce creative, innovative problem solvers for business and industry of the 21st century. Taking studies from a unique University Common Core of Studies all engineers are also exposed to Theology, Philosophy, Humanities, Arts and other courses aimed at producing engineers who are aware, multidimensional, and capable of thinking on their feet. Knowing HOW to think – not WHAT to think. Did I mention that we have a fantastic new Engineering Building? Engineering Hall opened Fall 2011. Come, see where all of this takes place, and discover how you can be a part of it.
