Undergraduate Students

In most typical sessions, writers come in with an assignment and a draft, and they discuss ways to revise and improve it. Students read their essays aloud and often find several things that they would like to change even before they begin discussing it.

Tutors respect the writers and trust their writing decisions, so they don't tell writers what to do with texts, but rather they ask writers why they've made the choices they did. This process helps writers clarify what they need to do to revise well.
