Check your undergraduate application status

Please Note: Marquette recently switched to a new application management system. As such, the method by which you can check your status will depend on the term for which you are applying.


Undergraduate Applicants for fall 2016 and later terms:

Log into your application account. Your account information was sent to the email address you used to apply immediately upon receiving your application. If you used the common application, your access is generally emailed within 5 days of Marquette receiving your application.


Undergraduate Applicants for spring and summer 2016 terms:

You can check to see if your application is complete by logging into your CheckMarq account. We are unable to verify application information by email.

Step 1

Log into CheckMarq using your username and password. (CheckMarq access is sent to the email address you provided when applying 1-2 business days after we receive your application in our computer system. It may take up to five days for access to reach you depending on your application method). CheckMarq access is sent from Be sure to allow emails from addresses and check your junk mail if you have not received your access. If you have lost your access email, contact the IT Services Help Desk at (414) 288-7799. You will be asked to provide some personal information to have your access reset. The Help Desk offers extended daily hours and weekend hours.

Step 2

Click the "Student Center" link.

Step 3

Review your "To Do List" on the right. This will show you anything you have left to do to complete your application. If you have no to-do list items ("No To Dos"), your application is complete. Items marked as iniated have not been received. Please note: ACT and SAT scores are not matched to an application until we receive a high school transcript.

Missing items?

Keep in mind that most credentials (transcripts, test scores, etc.) take up to two weeks to post to your application account from receipt. Your CheckMarq account is updated in real time and contains the most current information; It is the same information we see in the admissions office. If you had credentials sent to Marquette before submitting your application, those items may not post until two weeks after you applied.

Any missing credentials may be faxed to the admissions office at (414) 288-3764 as soon as possible. Please also follow up with an official copy of the document electronically or via postal mail. Click here for complete contact information.
