Marquette has a formal application deadline of Dec. 1.
Applications completed after our deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. There is no early action and no early decision. Because admission to Marquette is pooled, we take time to thoroughly review all credentials submitted to the committee. We expect our admission decisions to be finalized, and letters to be mailed, beginning after the New Year holiday. Depending on the volume of applications received, the actual notification date may change.
The application process at many colleges is shrouded in mystery. That's not the way we do things at Marquette. On the following page, we'll connect you with everything you need to know about applying to Marquette, from writing your college essay to telling us about your extracurricular activities.
Our best tip? R-E-L-A-X! We want to get to know you academically and personally. We want to learn all about the things that make you who you are. So brag about yourself in your application, and make sure to follow the advice below.

To complete your online application, please be sure to submit the following:
We ask you to provide a list of extracurricular activities to get to know you better. We're not looking for students who have 400 activities.
Instead, we would rather see that you have been involved in a few activities, advanced in leadership and been committed to an activity/organization. Be sure to give us a sense of how much time you spend in your activities and highlight any leadership roles. Make sure to explain any activities you think the committee may not know or understand. Though we know what it means to be an Eagle Scout, we may not know what it means to be a member of the STAR club at your school.
