Latin American Studies majors and minors view the region from many perspectives, including History, Literature and Cultural Studies, Peace Studies, International Affairs, Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, Economics, Business, Social Welfare and Justice, and Theology. You will engage a variety of disciplines while identifying your own approach and honing your Spanish language skills.

Put your skills to use through our study abroad programs in Chile and Peru, faculty-led courses to Mexico, Argentina, and Cuba, and service and immersion experiences from Milwaukee to El Paso to Central America. The Latin American Studies program has built-in electives to allow for flexibility in choosing when to study abroad.
